WHO YOU’D BE WORKING WITH
Meet Rankin.
Rankin Johnson was admitted to practice in Oregon in 1996. In the thirty years since, he has handled trials and appeals — in state and federal court, as a public defender and in private practice. He has represented clients in cases up to and including capital murder — among them former fugitives from the FBI's ten-most-wanted list.
He has written practice materials for the Oregon State Bar and the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association — the kind of reference work other lawyers rely on.
Away from work, he spends time with his wife, children, and assorted pets; writes fiction; cooks; and practices billiards and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
